Welcome from the Commanding Officer
Welcome to our web site!
My name is Mike Holroyd, and I am the
Officer In Command of 2200 (Oldham) Squadron ATC.
The Air Training Corps is for anyone
aged between 13 and 20, and you don't have to be planning a career
in the Royal Air Force to take part in the many activities and
challenges which are available to our cadets. Over the last 12
months 2200 (Oldham) Squadron has taken part in sports competitions,
summer camps, flying and gliding weekends, the Duke of Edinburgh's
Award scheme and leadership courses, and we have much more planned
for this year. Some of the activities open to our cadets are
available nowhere else, and our cadets are given the opportunity to
travel all around Great Britain - and to other parts of the world.
This web site is compiled by and about
the Cadets and staff of 2200 (Oldham) Squadron, so please enjoy
exploring our site and seeing what our cadets get up to. If you're
thinking of becoming a cadet yourself why not get in touch with us?
We look forward to seeing you!
Yours
Mike Holroyd,
Flight Lieutenant RAF VR(t) Commanding
Officer
